Greater Cleveland Volunteers recruits volunteers age 18 and older to serve at over 100 local nonprofit organizations. We assist you in finding the right opportunity to serve based on your interests, skills, and availability. We provide you with ongoing support to ensure that you have a rewarding experience and to recognize your service to the community.

This year we are celebrating the success of our AARP Experience Corps in the Cleveland Metropolitan School District.

You can expect an exciting evening filled with elegant appetizers, a delicious banquet meal, the popular silent auction and presentations of the David F. Leahy and Community Partner awards. Also an oral auction and special performances.

My Mentor My Friend

  • Serve as a mentor in our My Mentor My Friend program in the Cleveland Schools.

RSVP Program

  • Adults age 55 and older can be part of our RSVP program to share their life skills and experiences to help with critical needs in our community, through an ongoing assignment at one of over 50 non profit organizations.

AARP Experience Corps

  • Older adults interested in helping Cleveland school children in grades K-3 improve their reading skills can be part of our AARP Experience Corps tutoring program.
