RSVP at Greater Cleveland Volunteers

Greater Cleveland Volunteers is the host for the Cuyahoga County chapter of the national Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (also known as RSVP) which engages adults age 55+ in service to the nonprofit community.

RSVP has been serving the Cleveland community since 1972. Nationally, over 296,000 RSVP volunteers give of their time, talents, and life experiences to help those in need.

The Cuyahoga County RSVP program focuses on the following needs:

Access to Healthcare

Disaster Services

Economic Opportunity: Housing and Job Prepardness

Food Security

Health Education

Prison Visitation

Services to Seniors

Youth Empowerment through Education, Mentoring & College Access

ELIGIBILITY:

RSVP is open to all people age 55 and over.

Volunteers do not receive monetary incentives.

Research proves that older adults that stay active through volunteering live healthier and more rewarding lives.
