Make a lasting impact by volunteering in a local Senior Center, where your time and compassion will bring joy and comfort to seniors in the community! Help dining and kitchen staff set up and clean up daily lunch time from 11:45am-12:45pm. Volunteers are needed in the Euclid community Monday through Friday, weekly.

Environmental Health Watch’s mission is to create a healthier environment for our community through education and sustainability efforts. Assist in their mission by canvassing and engaging residents. A non-profit helping non- profits! Give your time to support an organization dedicated to helping the community access necessities like clothes, hygiene products, household supplies and so much more. Tasks consist of sorting new products by category and organizing them so that community members can shop easily. Volunteers are needed in the Glenville Neighborhood Monday- Friday 10am-12pm or 12pm-2pm.

Empower the next generation by volunteering as a classroom helper! Volunteers are asked to assist in a Child Enrichment Center, providing support to children aged 3-5 years old. As a classroom helper, you will be an extra set of hands in the classroom, aiding with crafts, activities, and other tasks under the guidance of a teacher. Help is needed Monday-Friday 3-5pm in the Detroit Shoreway Neighborhood./p>

- How long before I can volunteer?Answer:
The onboarding process varies by agency. Volunteer opportunities in the medical and social services fields usually have additional requirements (training sessions, immunizations), which can take up to two months to complete. Some opportunities will allow you to volunteer almost immediately. - Are background checks required?Answer:
All AARP Foundation Experience Corps Tutors are required to undergo a background check via Greater Cleveland Volunteers. All other volunteers may be subject to a background check depending on the agency and type of volunteer opportunity. - I have court ordered community service to do.Answer:
We recommend that individuals with court ordered community service consult our Events Calendar. This will be the best option in achieving required hours. After reviewing the calendar, contact the staff member listed to sign up to volunteer at one or more of the Events. - I am under age 18. My family would like to volunteer together. Can you help me?Answer:
Our agency works with volunteers aged 18 and over. Some of our partner agencies welcome families to volunteer together or have youth volunteering programs. We have a complete list of family/youth friendly agencies which offer a variety of volunteer opportunities and would be happy to pass on the information.
