Donor Privacy

Donor information is kept in two secure cloud-based databases. One is used to communicate with you and keeps track of your donations. The other is our accounting software which keeps track of your name and donation amount for purposes of doing accounts receivable, bank deposits, generating internal financial reports, and financial reports for our funders. No donor name or contact information is shared in any external financial reports.

Donors that wish to remain anonymous will not have their names appear in any donor lists we publish. They will be listed as “Anonymous”. Donors may express their desire to be anonymous on our solicitation materials or by contacting us at any time.

Online financial transactions are conducted through DonorBox or Eventbrite and adhere to these third-party vendors’ privacy and security policies. These policies can be found at: https://donorbox.org/privacy and https://www.eventbrite.com/support/articles/en_US/Troubleshooting/eventbrite-privacy-policy?lg=en_US

Greater Cleveland Volunteers will not share, sell, or trade our donor information with any other entity, nor send mailings to our donors on behalf of other organizations.
